Public Works

Fall 2023 hydrant flushing will begin on Tuesday September 12th.

See map below for the flushing schedule.  Please note that the schedule is subject to change if there is inclement weather or an emergency.

While hydrant flushing is occurring, it is very normal to see discolored water or experience temporary low water pressure.   Pressure will return to normal within 30 minutes of flushing being completed.

If you do have discolored water, please flush your lines at a high volume with Cold-water for 15-20 minutes. This will help eliminate anything that got into the lines during flushing.

If your pressure does not return to normal or your water continues to stay dirty after a Cold-water flush, please call Public Works at 651-458-2808
