Water Meter Repairs - Water Turned On/Off

Water meters measure the amount of water used by individuals and/or businesses. Occasionally the City may need to gain access to your home to repair the water meter. You will receive a letter in the mail asking for you to call the Public Works Department at 651-458-2808 to schedule an appointment.

A uniformed City employee will arrive at your home in a City marked vehicle to make this repair at the scheduled time. The City is responsible for the repair of the water meter in your home if it is not caused by the negligence of the homeowner. If you have a meter that is leaking or not functioning properly, call Public Works at 651-458-2808 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
