Hardwood Park is more than 10 acres of park, pond and open space located in the Timber Ridge neighborhood. It includes a fun play structure, a picnic shelter and nice walking paths around the pond. Hardwood Park's trail system is linked by 65th Street to the north and Hidden Valley Park/Cottage Grove Trailway Corridor to the south. The park's name originated from nearby Hardwood Avenue.
