Investigative Aide

The full-time Investigative Aide is a non-licensed, plainclothes support position assigned to the Investigations Division of the department. This position is designed to assist Detectives with the various tasks that they are responsible for, to conduct or assist in the processing of crime scenes, and to assist with maintaining the Property/Evidence function within the department.

  • Starting pay: $22.32 - $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications

Public Service Worker - Streets

The full-time Public Service Worker in the Streets Division, will perform a variety of manual labors in the construction, maintenance and repair of city facilities, streets, roads and storm sewers.

Cook -Eagles/River Oaks

The part-time cook positions at River Oaks Golf Course include days, nights and weekends and require excellent customer service and presentation of food and beverages in the Clubhouse. This position is responsible for the preparation of all food menu and specialty items within the Clubhouse.

Playground Leaders

The seasonal Playground Leader positions are responsible for programming, planning and supervising activities for youth ages 5-13 years old.  Activities include arts and crafts, games, special events, and many other fun things. 

Leaders will be assigned to work up to 40 hours per week.  All applicants must be a minimum age of 18.

Three Month Fleet Maintenance

The Seasonal Full-Time Three Month Fleet Maintenance position will work with the Public Works Department and will be responsible for performing semi-skilled maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment such as changing oil and fluids, changing tires and repairing small gas engines. The applicant will also perform duties such as clean and organize the shop, pickup and drop off parts, wash vehicles and perform inventory. The applicant should be highly motivated, positive and able to work as a team.

  • Pay: $10-13/hour
  • Schedule: May/June-August

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license.
